If You Acquired These 4 Skills You Would Be Rich

skill acquire

Acquiring skills is arguably one of the most important aspects of life that many people do not talk about. It is more popular to sell a course to someone giving them wishful thoughts than it is to put your feet on the ground and acquire something the world can pay you for.

We recently interviewed a black belt who had interesting views on the state of the world and how a generation of kids are focused on the wrong things in their 20s.

Acquiring skills is no easy task and it takes time to do so. An entire generation of young adults has been brought to believe that they are special no matter what and that everyone deserves a happy life. We will not be one of those people that lie to you.

You have to earn everything in this life. Whether someone accepts that as truth or not is their issue. Because the individual we spoke to about this topic was a black belt in BJJ we sat down and tried to understand what the sport inherently teaches you if you decide to let at it.

What is Jiu-Jitsu?

Jiu-Jitsu is a martial art and combat sport based on ground fighting and submission holds.

This is what you get when you Google search it.

When you practice jiu-jitsu you learn very quickly it is much more.

Jiu-Jitsu is the art of learning how to lose so that you can learn what not to do and learn to win. Stress Testing yourself daily is not something many people are doing these days. Matter of fact, you are in the minority of human beings on the planet right now just by participating in the sport and putting yourself under this type of stress. No one does hard things anymore. They run away from them.open mat and its importance

Actual skill is formed here. Learning how to gracefully lose so that you can learn how to win is an elite-level quality that most people do not possess. This morphs you into a person of character in the process. If you are constantly training and putting your mind and body in stressful situations by default you become someone calloused to the idea of a stressful situation.

What do people even consider stressful these days? Honestly. If you ask any young person they do not know what real stress is 99% of the time, they get stressed because they have too many emails, or have a busy weekend getting drunk with Stacey.

Jiu-jitsu does not create character, it shows it. If you are a mentally weak person who folds under pressure it will show. This does not mean you have to be this type of person forever though. Personal growth is bound to happen if you let the sport change you.

Your progress and growth is the only thing that matters at the end of the day. Jiu-jitsu has taught us how to show up for the world. It has helped us understand what is stressful and overall positively increased our mood.

Jiu-jitsu will not change for you it is a sacred art form that should be treated as such. If you let it, it will change you.

What Skills Are Most Valuable in the World Today

Collecting valuable skills outside of physically looking like a Greek god and knowing how to buggy choke the shit out of an opponent is what we want you to focus on. Here is a list of extremely valuable skills that will make you superior to the competition and a money-making machine.acquire valuable skills

  • Sales & Communication

This is what we do for our day job. The best part about this is that if you can talk you can do this. The best part about this career path is that as you get better you make more money. If you find the right vehicle (the right market to sell products) you can make a killing. You’re in control of how much you make, you are not limited by a salary.

  • Marketing

If you can sell a product, that’s great but it does not matter if people do not even know if your product exists. The internet is crowded and lots of people are paying huge amounts of money to capture your attention. If you can learn SEO, Google Ads, and how to build communities you’re pretty much unstoppable in the 21st century. Digital marketers will be some of the most sought people in the world by the end of the decade.

  • Coding

This does not need an explanation. The world is not going to stop using tech. The importance of web developers is increasing exponentially. If we want to experience continuous growth as a species, more smart people need to get into coding.

  • Law and Finance

There will always be room for this. Being a lawyer or working as a banker is an extremely lucrative field to get into. Often it is gatekept for those that go off to college but again because of the internet people can learn the skills to get themselves qualified for positions in this field. Learning how to invest is one thing that everyone on the planet will have to learn at some point but being qualified to do it on behalf of others takes an entirely different set of knowledge. That is why we have partnered with Achievable to help those interested accomplish their goals and take a step toward a brighter future.

Achievable is an online professional test preparation platform. Studying for a professional exam can be extremely challenging, stressful, and time-consuming. Their mission is to make your experience great and get you the results you are after. Here you can find test prep material for the ACT, Series 6, Series 7, Series 63, and much more!

  • Security

The more tech advances the more we will need people that can protect it from getting into the wrong hands. Cyber security will be one of the most important skills of the 21st century.

Acquired Skills = Leveling Up Your Avatar

The world is at a reflection point in many aspects. We are experiencing unprecedented times, the statement “adapt or die” has never been more true. We want to empower people to go down the journey of acquiring the necessary skills to live a powerful and successful life. Just like everything we talk about, it will not be easy but we need to be actively chasing more things in life that are not easy. Acquiring new skills is like leveling up in a video game. Your final character is on its way to becoming a complete badass!

Happy Rolling and be sure to jump out of your comfort zone!
