Hey Everyone! We are back again with another gear review. Today, we’re taking a closer look at the Elite Sports Rash Guard.
Unlike heavier gear categories where we use the full Graveyard Scale (1–10), rash guards and shorts are evaluated with our Simple Verdict System. These items usually have subtle differences that don’t justify hard numerical scoring, so this framework keeps reviews easy to read and more helpful for everyday athletes.
Reminder: We are on a mission to help people find the best combat sports gear across categories. We share a lot of our thoughts on gear in the following Reddit communities r/fightgear, r/grapplersgraveyard, r/bjj and r/jiujitsu so be sure to be a part of those communities.

Category Breakdown
Fit & Comfort
I wouldn’t say this rash guard is uncomfortable but it definitely did feel stiff.
Again, throughout this review, you’ll find that it’s not my favorite product and I don’t really like bashing on a brand continuously. But overall if you want to save money on buying gear and want to keep things as affordable and minimal as possible, it’s not the worst fit.
It is pretty comfortable but nothing that would exceed expectations.
Performance (Sweat Management or Mobility)
Overall the rash guard is pretty breathable. It does help ultimately manage heat pretty well but I wouldn’t say it’s all too moisture-wicking and in most cases it doesn’t really affect any of the way that I was rolling when I was wearing this rash guard specifically.
again it didn’t really have much of a design appeal to it. Pretty plain, very cheap. Ultimately gets the job done for a very affordable price.
Durability & Materials
Why it matters: Rash guards and shorts take constant friction from mats and grips. Strong stitching, high-quality sublimation, and durable fabrics extend lifespan.
Personally, I did not keep my rash guard from Elite Sports for very long because I just really didn’t like it ultimately the material didn’t really feel the best on my skin and it did have a scrunchy elastic band to connect around the waist with a thin layer of sticky on the inside to keep it from riding up. Some people like that feature but I am personally not a fan of rash guards built that way
Design & Value
Really there is no design value that kind of comes with Elite Sports products. at the end of the day it’s a very affordable beginner-friendly brand so I really don’t expect much from the design perspective of buying these rash guards. most combat sports gear comes out of Pakistan and I do believe that Elite Sports is going to be the cheapest quality products coming out of that area.
Final Verdict for the Elite Sports Rash Guards
Verdict: Skip This One
Personally, I am not a fan of cheap clothing and gear. I understand its appeal and importance to the market but it is not the go to item I will wear when I literally buy some of the best products and review them. I think there are better ways to spend money than on this product.
Would I Buy It Again?
No
- Skip buying from this brand unless you are on a serious budget or hate spending money on BJJ gear
- I am not a fan
Alternatives and Recommendations
- Future Kimono BJJ Rash Guards
- Trapjitsu Rash Guards
- Gold BJJ Rash Guards
- Origin BJJ Rash Guards
Cost and Value
If you are on a serious budget I guess the product is doable. It gets the job job and gives you something to train in.
Literally no aura in this gear, all that you are doing is saving a buck buying it. Again, if that is what you want to do, go for it!
Buying Guide
You can buy this either on Amazon or Directly from their website. You would probably get it shipped faster to your house if you buy from Amazon.

Our Simple Verdict System [Rash Guards]
Since we feel like it is not necessary to grade rash guards or shorts on a scale of 1 – 10, we came up with a simple verdict system to replace it for more harsh reviews that we do on other combat sports gear. This is our usual process.
Graveyard Pick
Top-tier gear, excellent quality, and worth the investment.
Solid Choice
Reliable, well-made, and worth buying depending on preference or budget.
Skip This One
Falls short in important areas or doesn’t justify the price.
