While our main exercise method is getting on the mats and doing some form of combat sports training, we still spend an ample amount of our time lifting weights and incorporating other methods of exercise.

One of those big ones is using kettlebells.

For combat sports athletes like myself, kettlebell training is super ideal for a number of reasons.

We bought a couple of kettlebells to test out different brands and are here to give you our thoughts on the kettlebells from Kettlebell Kings.

Grapplers Graveyard is a review website that creates these reviews using our scale known as the Graveyard Scale. 

Each item that we rate has it’s own set of measures that we look at and rate on a scale from 1 – 10. 

These kettlebells are one of three that we own and we do not have a large enough sample size to give a clear rating at this time, as we get our hands on more equipment a proper rating will be given.

Kettlebell Kings Review

Kettlebell Kings is one of the larger kettlebell brands and caught our eye for a number of reasons. 

Overall, the quality and feel of this equipment is incredible. It really does feel high-quality in the hands and makes for a great set of exercise equipment. 

One thing I will note is that compared to other brands, Kettlebell Kings price point is a little bit on the high side.

If you have been reading our content over time, you will know that paying a premium is not a huge deal for us IF the product lives up to it. 

There are several kettlebells that we need to try out still but for what we have tried, this product does live up to its price tag.

Price

Getting an entire set of kettlebells for a home gym or just to have lying around is not the cheapest thing in the world, especially going with a brand like Kettlebell Kings.

What’s Important (My Point of View)

As stated in a smaller paragraph we looked at four categories in our review for the Kettlebell Kings Powder Coated Kettlebells. These are the following: Material, Finish, Wear & Tear, and Branding.

Material

The kettlebells from Kettlebell kings are made with quality in mind and it is easy to tell compared to the other kettlebells I own. It is made from a single piece of cast iron making it a more durable product that can stand the test of time.

Finish

Having a smooth-finished kettlebell helps protect your hands, wrists, and forearms. Directly from their website, Kettlebell kings states that they never cut corners and go for quick fixes to just ship out a product. 

Kettlebell Kings attention to detail on this aspect of the product again shows up in the quality and the feel when you are actually sweating & using the product.

I have had this bell for more than a year now and it still feels like its brand new!

Wear & Tear

I live in an apartment and do not have all the space in the world to keep my workout equipment inside. 

I am building as workout area on my balcony at the moment and as stated before, we focus more on combat sports training so the majority of the time our equipment sits outside. 

The sun in Arizona is brutal, it rains fairly often even in summer months, and our kettlebells are still in great condition.

Wear and tear of workout equipment we purchase is a big deal for us due to the circumstances of us living in an apartment. 

We have to buy equipment and keep this fact in mind so we don’t end up feeling like we wasted money in the process. 

As you know, this equipment can be expensive but it’s always worth the buy if it ends up being quality and shows little signs of wear & tear after multiple months of use.

Brand

Kettlebell Kings is a premium brand that lives up to the price point in my opinion. I have been very satisfied with the product and plan on continuing to buy more from them in the future (after I test out other brands of course). 

Kettlebell Kings does offer a lifetime warranty on there bells as well. No one else offers lifetime warranties on their cast iron kettlebells.
