The UFC returned to the APEX in Las Vegas for UFC Vegas 112, featuring a thrilling main card headlined by Brandon Royval and Manel Kape.

Manel Kape Claims First-Round TKO Over Brandon Royval

The headline fight ended with a first-round knockout when Manel Kape beat Brandon Royval by a TKO. Kape remained calm at the beginning, hitting Royval with the right strikes and evading his pressure. Royval went down on the canvas with a sharp right hand, and Kape pursued him with more strikes on the ground until the referee intervened at 3:18 in Round 1. This victory puts Kape higher on the ranks and at the same time he is now in the conversation for a title shot.

 

Kevin Vallejos Knocks Out Giga Chikadze in Round Two

In the co-main event, Kevin Vallejos earned a second-round knockout over Giga Chikadze. Vallejos controlled the fight, staying patient and waiting for the right opportunity. Early in the second round, he landed a decisive strike that ended the contest at 1:29. The victory is significant for Vallejos’ featherweight ranking and marks one of the most important wins of his career to date.

 

Oleksiejczuk Wins on Points, Costa Finishes Quickly

Cezary Oleksiejczuk earned a unanimous decision victory over Cesar Almeida after three rounds. Oleksiejczuk maintained control throughout, using measured striking and strong positioning to secure a clean win. All three judges scored the fight 30-27 in his favor.

Earlier, Melquizael Costa finished Morgan Charriere in the first round. Costa landed a head kick at 1:14, ending the fight swiftly. The victory highlighted Costa’s precision and power, further establishing him as a serious contender in his division.

Draw and Split Decision Round Out Main Card

The heavyweight bout between Kennedy Nzechukwu and Marcus Buchecha ended in a draw, with all three judges scoring it 28-28. Both fighters had strong moments, but neither could gain a clear advantage over three rounds.

King Green defeated Lance Gibson Jr. by split decision in another competitive fight. Green’s strategy and timing allowed him to edge out a victory on two of the three scorecards.
